Can i run an expansion chamber on my piranha EVO?

Would it run at the right pressure?

Any help appreciated

i guess you could... but why? it comes with a regulator which is 100 times better than an X chamber

but isnt an ex chamber better for running c02 than a reg? i figure you have a better chance at freeezing a reg over an x chamber. but thats just what i figured, dont take it as fact

that reg is meant for co2, x chambers dont do much. email KEE action sports and theyll send you a reg rebuild kit for free (thats what i did, works great)

I disagree. Detonator regs cannot handle co2 for very long, and I have rebuilt countless DSR regs because of co2 use.

For co2 use, a Palmer's Stablizer will work great for a regulator.

i disagree. the gun stock is meant for CO2, even from the manufacturer. i have the DSR and the only reason mine has gone down is because i insist on messing with my stuff "if it aint broke dont fix it"... and my friends evo has the detonator and he only uses co2 on it and has shot a couple cases through it already with no problems.

I realize the marker was made for co2 use, but regulators are typically not. You're going to blow it out sooner or later unless the co2 is antisiphoned.
I have yet to see any Detonator reg hold up that well to co2. Although I will say that once in a while you'll get that oddball reg that'll hold up to anything you put through it, lol.

Doesn't the Evo need a HPR? Can't operate at LP otherwise... right?

While using an expansion chamber, how will he keep the EVOs operating pressure at the required 300 psi range?

Sure the gun MAY operate at the usual CO2 tank pressures, but he wont get the desired performance...mainly recocking problems, and CRAZY HIGH velocity levels.

If you're looking to replace your reg go with a palmers stabilizer... kinda spendy but very very high quality and it will work well with CO2.

what if you replaced the ram air chamber w/ front slug like the r6, gtis? them used the xchamber? i still dont think it will effect preformance using the co2 and xchamber. also i think the evo stock is supposed to run up to 500 psi. mine runs a lot lower, but....
