Have you considered using a belt or chain feed (similar to the ATS AT series)? It will add quite a bit of mechanical complexity and may not do a whole lot for speed, but it could eliminate breaks on your original design (firing through barrel). Assuming your belt/chain was properly timed and indexed, you'd end up with either good shot, or shooting a blank. Your eye system may take care of that, but I can only imagine what a blender this could turn into, and the housing doesn't look like it's something you can quickly field strip and clean. If you're trying to get max BPS it might not work (you'll just chop with the belt instead of chopping with the barrel) but since I imagine the user is going to be capped at 15bps 95% of the time anyway, it might improve reliability. Just a thought..otherwise, nice work, and...does it come in black?

If it was chopping, I could see that as helping, but since it was a break, I don't think it would make any difference. Its was old, cheap paint. Pretty brittle. Its actually pretty easy to field strip. Two screw hold the upper housing and two others hold the barrel assembly on. Then you just unscrew the barrel and clean it. I had to do it twice while filming because of the cheap paint. Took about 3 minutes each time.

I'm looking into offering custom anodizing for future models... Thanks for the input.

No problem, always glad to throw my peanut gallery ideas in when I see people actually taking their ideas and making them work! Sounds like you've already thought this thing through alot, which makes sense considering you have multiple working prototypes. Keep up the good work!

How many bps is this capable of? I dont really see the point other than eye candy because a mech spyder can be modded to 30-40bps full auto with a drop of epoxy and an 1/8inch drill bit.

Your next project should be a blisteringly fast loader....Something that'll put out a steady 40bps without crushing the poor balls. Slap that on a Cyborg and we'll finally see what those things are capable of.

Max CPS is 42 bps. My haloB is maxed out at 32 bps. But Qloader will do 40bps I believe. Anywho, yes, a faster hopper would be great, but no one has come up with a faster hopper without breaking paint and have it easy to load. The Qloader is great, but you can't quickly reload.

Probably in the 900-1000 range. You have to include the core marker, motor, batteries, aluminum and machining, and electronics. Its all adds up pretty fast. but I'll see how low I can get the price. And then you can consider upgrades like, better barrel, higher flow reg, lighter bolt, etc.

I'm redoing the programming. but it will still shoot slower (Max ROF 20) than its little sister.... Hopefully it will be complete in a week or two and will also go on Ebay.

Damon- have you considered 2 loaders instead one 1 with the thought of being able to shoot at a higher bps?
