Threshold Bolt Maintenance Guide with Pics

Ok its really simple and thats why i "took my gun apart" (if you could call it that, its that easy) So as you can see theres only like 4 pictures, hinting its that easy, so here we go:

Unscrew the back cap with a 3/16 allen key:

Take out the back cap clean off the one front oring, and relube it with dow 55, i used shocker lube:

Next you can take you finger our push the bolt out the back with a sqeege or a non metal stick (something that wont scratch the interior, i just use my finger ), Theres 3 orings, one on the front and 2 in the middle, lube these ones and thats basically all, theres also one interior oring just behind the feedneck that should get lube on it from the bolt so you dont really need to lube it.:

THATS ALL:

Reassembly:
Just put the bolt back in, the orings should go first, then put the back cap in and screw it back in with the 3/16th allen key, dont tighten it to tight or you could strip the threading.

Thats all!!!

Nice!

It would be better if I had mine right now though.

Is the HPR the same *basically* as the Fusion HPR?

I saw on crazyballer, they don't recommend dow 55 but 33 or something thinner?

Dye Slick is by far the worst lube, it might "work" but it doesn't work good. Have you ever tried a different type of lube?

I know they made a "new" formula. I haven't used that and don't plan on it.

The first kind was so bad.

Never used V2, never had trouble with the first one. What was wrong with the 1st one? It was one of the best lubes I've used in ages. My only complaint was the odd smell. But i prefer Superlube oil for Freestyles, Egos, Ions, and DM's. Used Hater sauce on everything else.

Hater sauce V1 (pink in color) is not dow 33. It is their own formula, nothing like it. It doesn't even contain a bit of dow corning (dow 33/55). The Hater sauce v2 (green in color) is the same formula revised to make thinner and slicker (which probably was a bad idea for non-spool markers). Different color, and more 'spool friendly' so it isn't so thick and causes problems for the bolt to move back and forward. I've mentioned this dozens of times.

I also used to think Hater sauce was just a mixture of Dow 33 with some oils to make it thinner. But i was proved wrong, and was painfully embarrassed when the owner of Hater himself posted, and proved its contents with thorough explanation of the R&D process.

When i get a Threshold, I'll post my Assassin Modification #2.
