Stencil work, anyone?

I just got a can of spray paint and decided to stencil just about everything I own. Here's my first stencil:

I don't know what else I should stencil. I was thinking about putting something on the end of my tank cover.

Use tape instead of just putting the stencil over it. You'll have much cleaner lines.

qft, stops the drip from the paint as well

anyways, spray paint + cloth = smudge, blur, run, paste

looks decent

what about your name/team/username

=P I was going for the rough stencil look. I bought another can of paint tonight. That Krylon 'Fusion'. It's supposed to stick to plastics better. Anyway. I had my transparency stencil for that kind taped down somewhat. I couldn't really put any up there on the top left, and I didn't think about *not* angling the spray, so some got underneath.

I think I will put my username. Good idear. =P

i think medium sized stencils with a little bit of spray outside of the desired areas looks the best...but maybe that's just me.

Well, if that's the look you wanted then sweet job. Krylon Fusion is perfect for plastics. I used it to spraypaint a friends cell phone.

You know there are special vinyls made for stenciling, right? They're thick and stretchy so they can go over curves easily, but the glue isn't strong, so it comes off easily and doesn't damage the paint it's on in the first place.

I bet that's a lot more costly than some cut up clear folders. Just out of curiosity, though, how much do they run?

If you want custom made stencils, you can get a quote on their polyethylene type.
