need help to make spimmy

me and my friend are maybe planning on making a spimmy from his spyder pilot. we have read all the tuts such as the otters custom ones but we are still pretty confused. We arent really sure exactly what parts we need for a pilot because we know you need different parts depending on the gun you use. can someone tell us exactly what parts we need. thanks.

p.s. does anyone have a diagram of spyder internals that says what each of the parts are called because we don't know what some of the parts are?

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

possibly, but then that wouldn't truely be a spimmy. And a timmy frames take no modification to be bolted on to the body. The srew holes line up perfectly. Also the frame has a curve like the body does so it will fit.

Some of the 2k5 parts will fit just fine in a Spimmy. I had my spimmy all 2k5'ed out with no problem .

Only parts you have to worry about is if you are using an Alias LPR frint block you will have to drill and tap your body to accept a set screw to keep the front block on the alias style bolt will not fit the spimmy body. It will be too short and may allow a ball to fall back past the eyes. Also you will have to empty out more of the body of the bottom side for the solenoid to go up farther if you are using a 05/ style frame as the noids in the 05 frames sticks out at the top.

if your just looking for a cheap way to make a timmy, it's cheaper just to buy a timmy, even 2k5's are going for about $350, not sure how much all the timmy parts cost, but im pretty sure it adds up pretty quickly.

if your doing it just to have a relaly cool custom gun, not caring about the price, go find everything your looking for.
