New with Special Edition Evo

What pressure should the gauge read if I am using the evel detenator. I have it currantly at 300 even and it runs great but just curious if it should be more or less. Also, kind of a noob question to the Evo. Does it really need the rear adjuster or can I control the velocity through the regulator?

Thanks in advance.

you need the rear adjuster for velocity, and 300 is good. i think mines at 500psi, so i have to lower it a bit

300 psi is good...although you can lower it some if you wish.

Velocity adjustments can be done by regulator only, but you can also do spot changes with the thumb adjuster...just keep the adjuster at the mid range point.

the gauge on the side, when the tank (CO2/AIR/N2) is screwed in, will give you the psi of the gun. your velocity/fps (feet per second) of the paintballs are measured usually with a chrono. you can buy one or test out at a local pb shop or field.

With it set at 300 the marker shoots hard. I don't own a chrono anymore but I am guessing I am shooting hot. I am using N2. I think what I might do is fill my tank to 1000psi and gradually lower the regulator and see where it starts having problems recocking or having shootdown. Manual didn't really say much but I didn't know if it needed to be at a designated amount. Thanks again.
