Does anybody have any pics of what the triggerframe after it being in acetone?? thanks i am thinking of doing it with a blue body kit...

i just did that saturday.
i do not have pics of it then, because i immediately sanded it down, and polised it up.

i think it looks great with the blue accents.
i personally am going to get a silver powerlyte body kit and a blue breech,
so that it is all chrome, with a blue breech, barrel back, trigger, and grip

putting chrome reg on.

all in all, looks great, just do it.

As long as you can work out the inside of the can and breech it should not be a problem, but I don't suggest it. I have done it to a few frames then polished and painted.

why would it be bad?

The firing can and breech are anodized if I'm not mistaken. You can't take the anodizing off with acetone.

If you do paint it, do it right.

I didnt use Primer the first time I did mine. The back and front of the grip turned a brown/silver and eventually wore down to bare metal. The Reg Area is also very easy to get dirty and get nicked up.

the breech is powdercoated on the outside,
but underneath and inside are annodized,
and if you sand it off the inside of the breech,
you will lose the ability for the bolt to seal,
unless you get it re-annoed.
so go ahead and strip the breech and sand down the outside
but leave the internals alone.
