well, honestly, a mechanical gun like a tippmann, and a gravity feed hopper.

incase of rain you can still play, in case of no batteries you can still play.

gravity has never failed. i always play with a gravity at a scenario just so i wont have technical problems with my eguipment. (saves paint to!)

one wet halo and a fried victory board and you learn... when you dont think itll get wet, it DOES!!!

saran wrap for electric markers and hoppers. Even at rec games, if it calls for rain, I make extra sure to brink saran wrap to make a better seal around the gun so no drips get in. Just make sure you don't submerge it.

camel packs are really nice to have. Mine can hold about a quart and a half of liquid and it lasts me about 3 hours. It's pretty much impossible to dehydrate with one of these on your back.

I agree 100%. My SL68II is coming with me to CC this upcoming weekend and to any other event I make it to this year.

I used it at Stalingrad, at some rec games, and one night game last year. Definitely a wise idea fo weather or if you play at all when it gets dark where "accidents" are more probable.

Saran wrap, great idea.

Ok so how do you get all your stuff to the game if you are flying:
-------------------------------------------------------------

TSA Regs

You cannot bring markers (aka Paintball Guns) in your carry-on luggage.
Pack them in your checked baggage. We do not consider paintball guns to
be firearms and you can pack them in unlocked, soft or hard sided
luggage.
http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtrav...rial_1745.shtm

Compressed gas cylinders are allowed in checked baggage or as a carry-on
ONLY if the regulator valve is completely disconnected from the cylinder
and the cylinder is no longer sealed (i.e. the cylinder has an open
end). The cylinder must have an opening to allow for a visual
inspection inside.
http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtrav...essed_gas.shtm

Your best bet for your air tank is to ship it via Fedex, UPS or some other carrier OR rent a tank from the field you are playing at if they are offered.

Partially Full or Full compressed air tanks over 40 PSI are considered
"Dangerous Goods" and must be handled special.

I am playing my first scenario June 8th. How much paint will I need? When I play woods ball I usually shoot a case, will that be enough? I have no idea what it will be like but I am excited to find out!

Depends on how itchy your trigger finger gets! Scenario is much different than typical woodsball. Missions, respawning, etc. Go for 2 cases and see from there. Most important....... have a blast.
