Having trouble deciding on a bolt
i'm currently using an e-bladed evo-x with the stock aluminum bolt. i'm having trouble finding anyone who carries a delrin bolt in the length that i need. i would really like to find someone in the Los Angeles area who carries them, but i'd buy from the internet if i had to. futhermore, i was wondering if it would be better if i picked up a white delrin bolt instead of a black one. i heard the e-blade has a hard time recognizing black bolts.
thanks for any help.

if black didn't work, I don't think planet eclipse would be selling e-cockers with a black bolt

Evo -X bolts should be available from SP or Eclipse USA
Planet make the eblade and they do not sell any of thier ebladed markers with a white delrin. Love to know basis of this rumour

There is quite a few online sites that carry evo length bolts. The problem I had was finding an open faced one. I finally went with an AKA lightning bolt as Compulsive Paintball got some back in. The only other evo length open faced bolts i know of are the Compulsive Edge bolt and the Eclipse DART, but the Edge has been out of stock for some time, and I have yet to find a place in the US that carries the Evo length DART.

The eclipse eblade and the evo-x are constructed from the same WGP body therefore the standard DART bolt for the eclipse will fit the evo-x. So if you want the evo length DART then contact Eclipse USA and ask for eclipse-eblade DART and your problem is solved.
What I don't understand is the physics between open face and venturi

Can someone please explain why the DART is better than the evolution supercharger venturi bolt?
Can't find any where that has done any testing. Obviously Planet has a view but I'm looking for an independent review. Originally I saw a lot of reports that rated venturi over open face so what is different about the DART that reverses the trend

Most manufacturers of venturi bolts preach that the venturi face is easier on paint, causing it to be shot as close to a perfect sphere as possible, assuming the paint is to begin with. You would have to do some testing to see if there is any accuracy differences between open faced and venturi as I have never seen a conclusive one. Any venturi bolt I have tried restricts airflow when compared to an open faced bolt. My lightning bolt on one cocker gets about 5-10 fps (marginal) improvement over an evo venturi, and about 30-35 fps improvement over a Freeflow 10-hole. I have heard many different results and theories but this is what I have experienced.
