Al Pacino vs. Robert Deniro

The tour de force, the actors' actors, the best of thier generations. Constantly compared, because of thier similar method acting, the way they came into the industry and thier consistent excellence. Now we decide whos the best. Taxi Driver v. Dog Day Afternoon, Devils Advocate v. Cape Fear, Goodfellas v. Donnie Brasco etc...

I wasn't aware there was a debate, it is so obvious Pacino is superior in every way.

They are both amazing, but they have both also been in a lot of crap, but pacino was in Gigli, So deniro gets the slight edge for me.

Both of them are talented actors.

I guess the thing that reall helped my descision for who is better, is the movie Scent of a Woman. Pacino played the perfect character in it and that role had to be difficult.

I am going to have to say al pacino, I do not think that Dinero can top Al's acting from scarface, I know that scarface is overrated but he was just excellent in that movie.

I like Deniro's style better.
ďA strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks."

De Niro because not only has he been in more great movies (Taxi Driver, Deer Hunter, Raging Bull, Goodfellas etc) but he is also a quality director.

He is very talented
Touched by his noodly appendage.
