Awhile back I made a trip down to florida to play in a tournament. I was flying so I decided to just ship the gun down to myself. Before I left I did the usual check up on it. Everything was working great, however upon arrival the gun was acting a little wierd. It aired up with no leaks but when I tried to turn the gun on, the led would light up but just fade back off. I changed the battery but it didn't help. I took the gun to a shop and had it worked on. And heres the news I got. Apparently not only is the board fried but the solenoid is shot too. now I really don't understand, I put air through the gun, cycled it, turned it off, wrapped it, and put it in the box.I took it out of the box, and the board and noid were shot.
My question is how does this happen. What could have possibly happed to this gun during transit that would cause this much damage. And is there anything else I should try to do before ordering a new board and noid.
