one kicker l7 15 with a kicker kx 1200 with around 1300 rms at 1 ohm, in a 4.5 cube foot box tuned to about 35 hertz with the gain at about half on the amp  till the sub is broken in |

hate to tell you nothing was distorted when it was hooked up. bass on HU was on 0.Crossover on HU was on 60. Crossover on amp was on 50, gain at 1/2 and bass boost on 0......

Sounds like you designed a decent box... but maybe you'll learn that "gain set 1/2" means absolutely nothing to us. Hopefully before you melt some equipment.

Lol I would only use that system with the truck popped and in park. The doors are about to fall off.
But anyways young jeezy ftw, hypnotize is one of my favs to play loud too

ha lol amp never got hot at all. hu was at 23 out of like 35 so deff didn't have any distortion. melt? maby a chocolate bar on top of the amp is what i could melt lol. but yea like is said it was stolen and i am getting the insurance money from it and i am rebuilding. i am going to do 4 cvr 10's off a kx1200 and i should gain some from the 15 and i will be using aero ports instead of crappy slot port. box will be like 5 cubes after disp tuned around 33. |
