soldering componants on my circuit boards***PICS***

Ok, I accidently cracked my lcd screen on the kila vibe board, and on the top row of letters/numbers it only displays the lower half of them.

Now I still had my old frenzy board that went hay wire on me 2 years ago which forced me to buy aftermarket board, namely virtue, and I decided to try something out.

A while back I was watching a vid about soldering and desoldering lcd screens, so I remembered it and tonight I rigged up a solder tip that would work, and I proceeded to desolder the lcd screen off my old frenzy board and it came off really ez and smooth, no prob.

Now my q is before I go going the switch, will the frenzy be compatible with my alias kila vibe? From what I ahve heard, the same guy (Rob Esquire) who makes kila vibes made the frenzys, or something like that. If they are interchangable, I have plenty of confidence that I can do it no prob. And if I messed it up, $100 for another board is a breeze for me.

No offense to everyone, but I only want advice from those who know what they are talking about. Thanks.

Here is my lcd screen off my frenzy.

Well I know of a couple people here on pbnation who service broken electronics, and am hoping to hear from them. Kila isnt open sunday, and I was hoping to fix this tomorrow, and posting on pbnation would probably get faster results. Might not, but its worth a try.
