The only hangup on this system would the time restriction- maybe that could be waived for a month or something.

Oops, oversight on my behalf. You can no longer leave feedback in the old "feedback" forum.

I think he means it wont be that hard converting it all b/c you dont really need to find the sale threads, you just have to find their feedback thread (if you posted in it before it was locked) then you can just click the leave feedback button from there

I shoot people..
|
so basically you can keep your old feedback to use but then all your new feedback can go to the new system so if you hae like 80 on the old and 10 on the new you have like 90+?? is that ok?

What if the deal is done through PM's?
Example: Some one posts a WTB thread and I PM them and don't reply to the thread. How does that work?

Eh, that's whatever you want to do. I will have my feedback in my b/s/t as 69+/0- old feedback and 100% new feedback.

If the deal is done via PM's, it doesn't count.
Dunno about wtb. Haven't tried it yet.
Edit: IF YOU POST IN A WTB THREAD, IT DOES WORK! But, for it to be eligable for feedback, you MUST post in that WTB thread. Pretty sure if a mod sees that, and you didn't post in that thread, then you will get banned for FBF.
Also, if said person has a thread, and you PM him instead of posting in his thread, and you recieve said item, just post in his thread saying you bought _________ and you received it! That's posting...

from what i understand:
If a deal is done completely through Pm's and no posts or threads, you cant leave feedback.
For your example, yea I think you could leave feedback for that.

You should keep your locked one. It shows the feedback you earned before the change. If you have the time to convert it all, that's great, but it is finethe way it is too.

Make sure the seller gives you feedback as soon as you paid. Then use the yellow tag to return feedback when you get the item.

Sorry, but that won't work. You have to find the original B/S/T thread if you want to convert feedback.

Exactly! You can reference both systems now. You just can't add to the old feedback thread anymore, but you can always show it to people.

You need to reply in the thread.

All i can say to this... is, this is the dumbest most pointless change PBN has made. This is worse than the removal of the sidebar.
Oh well, just have to cope with the change....

Yes, it is dumb because it creates a system that balances out the honor system with providing links to transactions, keeps actual counts of people's feedback instead of the sometimes skewed counts people provide and strays away from the old feedback system which was an honor system that strayed.

Yes. The link should already be in your feedback if you did the deal this year.

So I didn't see how to convert old feedback. How do you do that?
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it, but I have feedback from a long time ago. I don;t really want to try and get all the people to leave me new feedback

Once again, you are wrong. Nobody is making you move your old feedback into the new system. The old feedback will always be there for you to refer to. The new system merely replaces what was a very error prone system.
Please think before you post, your attitude in this thread is not really helping with this transition to what is a far, far superior system that should result in less fraud and better transactions for everyone.
