He could have easily had the eye power too low and then had the BIP too high, resulting in feeding issues that eventually ended in a chop, which then disabled the eyes and allowed him to shoot a rate that was capped but still slightly higher than the one that he was allowed to shoot when the BIP was still on.

see thats just the thing. friends will bull**** you non-stop. Why, because they want you to shoot what they have as the best, in their mindset.

Friends + paintball decisions = No..

It seems like 99% of the people that badmouth Legends are just idiots that dont know how to set up a gun and leave it alone.

For the most part, you keep the settings out of the box, and when you go to the field you air it up and chrono. Your friend probably felt the need to try to "tune" the settings and got them all f'd up.

To me, my legend is not a gun to fine-tune and tinker with. Its a gun that i can go out every weekend knowing that its going to shoot great, throw it back in my bag, and repeat the next week with cleaning here and there. There is really nothing to go wrong with it as long as you leave it alone(unless you really know waht you are doing).

From shooting other guns I know the logic could be better but its not terrible and dont tell me I dont know what I'm talking about. I'm very familiar with the board and its programming options. Just my 2cents. Again. Nothing that should worry anyone but there is room for improvement I think

Eye logic

He might have had our Version 1 or prototype boards that skipped shots now and then.

The problem was fixed very quickly and the WAS V2 Ripps

i have never had a problem with my legend shooting slow. but sometimes i break off the break
its ok tho.

eye logic can be fixed
i hope soon someone will make some after market eyes with the 15*
so that means they can be that far off but still work.
they have them for the timmys
