Official Response To The Rumors
Hey guys, I just wanted to let eveyone know what is going on with us. We bought the Pro spot thinking we could dig it out of the botom and keep it afloat until next year when we would be ready to play it competitively. We felt like we had the dedication from all of the players to do whatever it takes to keep the spot alive. John Marques decided it was better for him to leave and go back home a day before Tampa , and I personally got hurt the second game of the tournament. Those things happening is not an excuse for playing as bad as we did, but it does go to show that we didn't have the dedication we thought. We have some really good players , but in order to compete at that level you need all seven guys to be extremely dedicated to doing everything you have to do to win. We don't feel right now that we have that. We feel like we need to get a couple more guys to fill weaknesses in our rostor. We don't have time to do that before Boston, and because of that we have sold the Pro Spot to Bad Company(Tom Cole). We will hold another tryout for the couple spots we need to fill and play the final three events in Semi-Pro. I feel like with our rostor we will be extremely competitive in Semi-Pro and with a couple key additions we may even be able to win that Pro spot back. We have a 4th place finish from Huntington Beach and a 6th place finish from Tampa when Bad Company played our spot for us. With those two finishes we feel like we are in a good possition to win a Pro spot at the end of the year. We are going to work even harder then ever and be out there to prove that we have what it takes to win.
We are really excited about the rest of the year and even though we had a setback with the gamble to take over the Arsenal Pro spot, our resolve to do whatever it takes to win is still extremely high. Thanks to everyone who has supported us and we will keep you updated with all our future plans.
