You can not use shocker eyes, they have to be either DM/Timmy. However if you had the tools, you could you NXT etes, and either split the ends and solder wires to them.

You can use Ego eyes. I did.

and how did you mill the body for it? Sure it is possible, but most of the ppl doing it wont have access to that kind of tooling.

Strange, could you please post a pic of where you soldered the timmy eyes to the board? And with the timmy eyes, they require no milling to the body correct?
Thank you

I've never owned a shocker before so please bear with me. Do the ego noids fit on the body where the shocker noid used to go with out any modification? Where is the hosing?(if shockers have any) oh and no shaving of the trigger is needed if you're using and ego noid right?
I still don't get what you mean by "solder the connector to the individual eyes". Did you remove the eye connectors off the stock board in the pic above where there are to big blobs of solder and another (timmy)connector? I'm confused.

Yes, ego noids will bolt on to the shocker manifold. IDK what you mean by housing, whether it is the noid housing or what? All of the shockers air passage ways are internal(no tubes).
The shaving of the trigger is optional. Because using a ego noid, they are a little smaller, so you can adjust were the frame is mounted around the noid.
I soldered the wires to the pins on the board. The blobs of solder was from a splice i did for interfeeding...(dont worry bout it)
If you want, i can do the necessary stuff for a charge.

Ok. I'm pretty sure I understand where to solder the timmy eye wires(pins inside the connector).
Nub question. Whats the manifold?
And do you have the measurements for the screw holes in the ego frame if i just buy a body?

And also I meant like where to drill the holes for the screws in the frame. Are the manifolds attached to the bodies?
sorry for so many questions.

Thanks, that link helped alot. I think ive got everything down except where to drill the holes in the ego frame. Now that i think about it Ill just like the holes on the body up with the frame.
Thanks again for all you help.!!

theres no generic place. What i did was screw the noid on the body. take a sharpie and draw a line on the body were the 2 screws for the body are. then take the frame, place it on the body and then finish the lines from the body to the frame.

Ya I'll do that.
And also what i was thinking, instead of soldering the timmy eyes directly to the prongs, I'll cut the ego eyes off of their wires and solder on the timmy eyes. Then the eyes can easily be removed. It will add another $15 to the project but nothing i cant handle.
