Problem with aluminium bolt pin

Hi,
i have just bought a aluminium bolt pin for my cure bolt and now i can't reach more than 240-250 over the chrony.
Is someone having the same problem?

here is my conf :

ti ramer
HP 4500 psi

When you put a lighter bolt pin in, the mass hitting the ball is less so it will not hit as hard.

only solution i can think of is switching it out with the stock.

just like you said. The problem is: if the bolt is to light, there isn't enough force to open the valve.

doesn't the rammer open the valve? or am i horribly confused?

ya but the bolt adds mass to the rammer, and a Ti rammer with a cure bolt and a non stock bolt pin doesn't have enough momentuem to open the valve
