This might be a stupid question, but what is the point of the offset feed neck.

instead of balls dropping straight down they drop and roll. might help to prevent double feeds.

thanks
The idea behind the off-set feedneck is: when the last paintball gets to the breech (especially with force feed loaders) it will bounce back because no other paintball following it in the feed neck. The eyes are detecting the paintball so the firing sequence is staring and you will cut the paintball in half. But because of the off-set feedneck the ball can not bounce back.

would a faster loader fix this?
if there´s a tension to the ball it won´t bounce back up the feedneck.
therefore it won´t chop?

If its the last ball there will be no tension.
