missing please help

i just bought a diadem from some on here and come to find out its missing the turny lock switch!! its gone and i can not change any of the setings were can i get another one of these or how can i bypass it?

I think the entire thing is gone... if I'm reading right. - not sure what the switch number is, but if you found out, you could buy another for a few cents and just re solder to the board...

Take it to an electronics shop and have them solder the corect terminals together.

the 3 metal little pegs directly underneath the chip marked: ATMEGA8L is the contact point for the switch. I can't remember off the top of my head qhich way is on and which is off, but you can use a paperclip to connect either set of two contact plates, and see if you can do the programming.

Anything that will complete that circuit will work as either a temporary or permanent solution.
