A little help

Hi guys. I'm kinda lazy right now and I need to know what the threading on the feedneck is for my gun. Does anyone know offhand what the serial numbers were for the cocker threaded feednecks? When did sys x switch to impy threads?? I'm selling my gun and the kid wants to know what the feedneck is.

I need to know for sure. Please don't post any "I think it's...." or " The old ones were cocker and the new ones are impy". I know all this. I need to know for sure.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but didn't I already post all of that??

I didn't have time to check the stickies, or else I would have. I have time now, so I don't need anyone to reply to this thread.

edit: screw that. I didn't even find the serial number change in the stickies!!!! I'm kinda pissed now. Now I've gotta do research if no one knows this.

Thanks loser.

SEAL, the old NMEs were cocker or impy threaded, the LEs are definitely impy and I know that, but it's a regular, which means it can be either cocker or impy. I just needed to know the exact number, or well, at least close.

i know that it cut off in the 550's..... pistol pete said something on that topic a while ago....

if you want to be able to tell for sure by looking at your gun and have no idea what cocker or imp threads look like, look in your manual. if your feedneck is as fat and tall in the base (under the twist lock) then it's cocker. if it's thin and looks like the ones in most of the pics in the pic thread, then it's impulse.

impulse threaded feednecks are screwed into the breech area of the gun
with cocker threads the threading is on the outside of the gun
it's very simple to figure out if i had a picture of 2 NMEs with either threading it would be very obvious to everyone which is which.

Either way it's no problem because my NME is number 0309 (well, that's if this is actually the box it came with). It's well below the 700s and even 500 if that's when it changed. I guess it's cocker threaded.

I hadn't really noticed if there's a difference in the feednecks. The guns are different, but that doesn't necessarily mean they have different feednecks. Either way, thanks guys. It most definitely should be cocker because it's a pretty low serial number.
