trigger pin
why did dp make the trigger pin so hard to take out? if anyone has a reasonable answer please post here. i scrached and dented my frame. not only that but bent my frame. yes thats right BENT my entire frame on my fusion. i will be posting pics later on today when i wake back up. i did everything every other post in here said to do to get the pin out. i layed it on a towel put a roll of tape under the pin so it could come out, and wala the frame is now bent. and still could not get the damn pin out. i do not know what else to do so if anyone has any idea how i can bend my frame back, that would be appriciated. thanks in advance.

The pin only comes out on one side, are you sure you were trying to take it out on the correct side?

no thats DP mistake for making it so darn tight. i did use a punch and a hammer and it came about 3/4 of the way out but would not budge after that. and i didnt bend it with the hammer, i bent it wile holding it down so i could hit the pin. maybe they fixed the problem on the v2 and the LE but mine is a v1 and it was very tight. and the crap about a sewing needle popping it out is not very belivable.

I went to Lowe's and got a punch. Like 1/32" orso. And just tapped the right side (not star side) and it came right out with some hard taps. I just used like a 9oz ball ping hammer.

I would think that DP will redesign that pin issue in newer generations to ease the burdon of its customers to have to buy specialized tools just for what might be a one to two time use.

There are a few places that sell them but someone would have to measure the frame first to see if any of them would fit as is

if it only came out 3/4 then you would think that its the wrong side
or try to pull it out with pilers

Just be careful when hitting the pin too (even from the correct side). Was swapping triggers on my wifes Shocker and the pin actually flared a bit on the end preventing it from coming out of the frame. Had to use a cutoff wheel on a dremel to cut the pin in half inside the frame.

Intense that is what seems could have happened. Good warning for any future trigger changers. I wasnt aware that you could get to the pin from inside the trigger frame. I guess I never looked on my LE.

The pin is tight so that it wont fall out durring a game. Just currious, how many of you guys have removed a trigger pin out of a trigger frame before you tried it on the fusion? I have never removed one that had to be nocked out that was any easier then the fusion.

take either a steel pin or a nail and hit it like a man with a hammer
and it helps if you can...hit the tip so the head hits the pin
