For those of thinking of buying a Fusion or have recently bought one PLEASE read

I'm seeing a lot of people coming on here saying that they have leaks from there Fusion from the asa or the solenoid. I don't think that all of these problems are from bad parts. I THINK that some of the new Fusion owners are not reading about the gun before airing it up and are over pressuring the gun. SO, I'm asking all of you future Fusion owners or new Fusion owners, PLEASE READ STICKIES on this website or on fusionowners.org for information on airing the gun up for the first time... THANKS!!!

And this thread does not pertain to FDS, he's just jinxed!!!

yeah,be more like me and take a week to lube it before you shoot it, lol.

seriously, Take the time to get to know it before you go to the field with it, otherwise things may get worse if you run into trouble and dont know how to fix it. Espescially if your like me and probably dont have any techs around that know the fusion. It may not satisfy you to not rip into it right away, but in the long run it will only help.

Here is how to set your pressure.

First of all, make sure gun in completely lubed (lpr, hpr and ram).

1. Bottom out BOTH regs (lpr & hpr) by turning them clockwise until they stop turning.
2. Air gun up and turn gun on and turn eyes off (make sure barrel condom is on barrel)
3. Turn hpr counter clockwise until guage reads 240-250psi. NO HIGHER
4. Turn lpr counter clockwise in small increments and pull trigger until marker will cycle.
5. Turn gun off.
6. Clamp on hopper and fill with paint
7. Go to chronograph and turn gun and hopper on
8. Shoot over chrono and in small increments turn lpr counter clockwise until you get to desired velocity..
9. GO SHOOT PEOPLE!!!

If you can't follow these simple instructions, then you don't need a Fusion!!

Umm actually DP is recommeneding 275 as a better level to set you inline to...Then adjust the LPR from there from there for proper velocity.

Just talked to Tommy the fixer man.
