RyGy1124v - I have and it will run at about 42 with custom made motor, over that and you will make one hell of a blender. I lwould say not to do every mod in this thread, instead use only the power dash motor, bone, new delrin cone and blue botton mod.
hiakungfu - very very pimp my friend I think ill add that.

Questions for the GODS of Halos.
1. I was told that I could take the 6 AA battery harness out and plug in one 9 volt. I tried and my halo works but it seems to stop every minute and flash those damn jam lights. If I turn it off shake it and turn it back on it will run for a while and stop again (annoying as hell). Could the battery situation be doing this? If not what? I took the spring out because someone said it might help. It is a fresh 9 volt but only one. I'm new so sorry if I am a moron.
2. With the ghetto speedfeed (disposal splash guard) Once it is on do you have to glue it or not. I just made it and it seems that if I push the pod in too hard the speedfeed folds over.
Thanks and I praise you GODS of the Halos!!

1. One 9 volt is not enough power to run your halo. You either need a dual 9 volt mod or a bone pack or just use the stock one.
2. You shouldn't need to glue it in.If you put it in with it domeing out it should stay

One 9v doesnt have enough mAH to power a halo for long at all. Just get a bone.

m_dogg you are correct about not doing to much on the halo. i did the xmod, s4 kit, bone, speedwheel, 1k ohm staple.. mmmm, i think that was it. anyways it was too much, i found that out today that its not good to improve all for speed. though i never had any problems and i was playing great today with cheap paint and no ball break in a hopper. but tomorrow ill play without the staple mod.

snatch. - take a punch and punch out the lil [in that holds the lid on.
nimbly - what all of the other said no your cant use just one 9V. and as for the speed feed the stokc lids better but if you want you can glue it on.

never use the staple mod. It fries boards and doesn't give that much more speed compared to the cheap upgrades you can do right now on the halo.

Power Dash is better and cheaper. Higher RPMs and Torque. Oh and its not as unstable as an Xmods motor.

Combine it with a speedwheel and bone yes but then just get the 3 paddle hotrod and your good to go. I always keep mine on setting 1 and its still faster than a setting 6 for a stock.

How important is the tension spring inside the spinning wheel? Do I really need it ?
Also how about the little spring sitting on the blue shell inside the hopper?

if you use 1k ohms if wont fry your board. it only adds little increase of speed on top of xmod. but it does take some battery power like 3 1/2 case. i was already at 8.1 bolt left on the bone.
power dash more stable than xmod? my xmod is pretty stable together with the speed wheel.
