Always Question
|
Why don't you try composing a picture that isn't boring?
That way you learn to shoot interesting subjects, learn to compose them properly, and don't end up wasting our time with boring pictures.
Not trying to be rude...but I hope you can see where I'm coming from.

Yea im gonna have to say QFT on that one.
but since you just asking if you composition is correct thats all ill comment on. But keep in mind, composition is only one aspect of photogrpahy.. theres sooo many more.
rule of thirds wise you are correct, but the 3rd shot, thats a face. and generally with a face the eyes are the subject, so you should have put the "subject" in the top left hand corner. Also because you dont want the "subject" looking out of the frame.. you want them looking into the frame.
get it?
got it?
great.
Now go shoot more interesting subjects. Its baseball season go to a little leage game, a school track meet SOMETHING... but get out of your back yard and tell you mom to throw away her tacky lawn ornaments.. and at least get some pink flamingos...

sure do. But make sure you people arent looking ro running out of the frame... unless there is something interesting behind them that is more important that what they are looking at..

I think you'll find the more and more you use the "Rule of Thirds," the less and less you use it. What I mean is this: it's a great rule to start understanding what makes an eye-pleasing composition, but as your further understanding of the subject proceeds, you'll start throwing in your own unique aspects of composing subjects.
