[Inevitable]

I think just about everyone has noticed how slow and laggy pbnation has been going for the past few months. I know its because there are normally 700+ people on at the same time but its been going on for quite a long time and isn't getting any better. Soon as 5 pm rolls around the site is vertually unusable. I know its not my computer cause i have DSL and my friends expeirience also. I was wondering if anyone else does also. Mods and Admins maybe you can do something to fix this. More bandwidth or somwething.

Just think dude...we have over 59,000 members, if everyone that posted that there is a "lag" problem on the nation, would donate to help out, we would be in pretty good shape.

Then again, this is a "no charge", "member" type of site. You can join at no charge to you, and accept what goes on here, or you can put your cash where your concerns are.

I am guessing you have NO idea what it takes to PUT a site on the web, much less KEEP it there. Then you have to....anyways, it is fairly expensive for the basic "look at that" site..much less an "interactive" site.(bandwidth concerns/host issues/hardware purchases/upkeep)

wasn't ment to put the site down or anything...just wanted to see if anything could be done. Also i do know what it takes to run a site and everyone..i have run several. I know how much work you guys put into it.

Do you run any as big as PBN? We move over 400GB of files per month, do over 4 million hits a day, and require a huge amount of resources. If everyone donated just a dollar, imagine all the hardware i could buy..

COOL!! Then you should know EXACTLY where we are coming from.

Just think, if the phone companies and cable companies weren't billion dollar conglomorates, and they would return, just a little of what the public has spent on there services, we ALL could have T-1 speed in ALL our computer enviorments.
