to be completely honest, probably something that costs a whole lot more than you're willing to pay. There are some good free ones, just search google.
I think it's time we blow this scene.
Get everybody and the stuff together.
Okay, three, two, one
Let's jam

I've used Free Movie Maker, and Expensive Premiere... Although Premiere could produce a superior video, MM's user friendliness was more appealing.

if you don't have editing software, nor you know what the pro's use, you shouldnt be buying it. It will be way too complicated. Use windows movie maker till you learn more.

Whazzzzup you asked in the right forum

It depends, from what I've seen it's really just a simple Final Cut Pro - and they know how to use it well. I use Adobe After Effects 6.5 + Sony Vegas 6, and they work really well together. I suggest getting a vegas 30 day trial version and seeing how you like it. If you only need to do one video, it'll def. work. Maybe a trial version of Avid

-60% vegas
-40% after effects
=pure sex

What type of vid are you making?
