I just got my brand new Cash Money Impulse from Florida and it is a very nice and fast gun, but when i screw the n2 in, the bottom of the vertical reg leaks slightly from the bottom... But when I shoot it, the leaking from the bottom stops, and a even slighter leak comes from somewhere at top of vertical reg??? Could someone please help me???

step 1: unscrew reg set it aside.

step 2: check that the screw holding the reg mount onto the gun is all the way in and not loose. also check that the PRV and the guage are screwed in tight.

step 3: put reg back on gas it up. if air leak has stopped from the reg mount area excellent.

step 4: if leak occurs from reg, disassemble reg make shure its all set and lube it up/oil it up and re assemble.

step 5: put reg back on gas up check for leaks.

note: is tank full of air or like below the 1 mark.

and the tank is completely empty, when you shoot it makes the sound of you know the (out of air) shots.... And I just put the little n2 i had left in the tank on my Imp and there is no leak... so i think its the tank with no air that made it leak.

ya if ur tank is near empty its gunna leak.

i asked b/c u said u bought it in FL brand new and ive seen his site before...

does he have alot of these on hand in his store just like lying on the shelf?? do u no if he annos these himself?

2 things. It may be new but since they haven't been made for a while, it may have been setting. You may want to re-lube it as it could be dry.
Regs need some head pressure to operate correctly. That is, pressure above what you are running at. Maxflo's are known to spike up and/or leak if the incoming pressure gets too low. They are generally good regs but will do this as will others when the pressure gets down to 250 or so in the tank.

Ya you guys are right because when I first got it and put the tank on, there were no leaks. But when my tank got super low(and still is), it leaked a tiny bit through reg. So yeah it was because of the low *** air... I hope.

sometimes too low a pressure won't make the orings seal up properly..this happens in mags alot too when your tank gets low..
