No question about it. Not only is it a much better product, but the company actually stands behind their work. You call over there you talk to people who will actually help.

alrite, I'm contemplating to get the 07 kit or not... If I don't I'll prob. buy another back for my Matchstik which shoots insanely accurate already....
But I really want to make sure, what's some additions that have been made to the 07 version... I have the 06 and trying to get rid of it b/c my Matchstik actually out performs it. So basicly convince me how the 07 is a step up better than the 06.

That would be a question for the company to answer. I personally have not used the '06 so I cannot comment.

well myself I'm not to happy. The reason I purchased the kit is so I can change backs with different markers. My old spector kit worked well after sending it in to get a new back becuase it had scratches in the lip.
Now that I want a cocker thread back they are discontinued and they can not or will not get more in.
Why purchase a new kit from them becuase they will allow me to trade my oldkit plus $75 for the new kits,,, NUTS Ill just buy the EMPIRE kit WHICH is the EXACT same kit for $99 or maybe a LUCKY kit,,, anyways
I hate getting taken Good luck to you ifyou purchased one of these...

oldschool scepter with the 07 front..FTW
I have the older style scepter.. I just feel like the longer control bore is going to yield higher accuracy. Whether it ever gets proven or not..i don't really care. I have a pepperstick kit as well, the back on it is 8 inches and it shoots more accurately than the scepter. (I'm thinking because either one..the back is longer, or two..there's porting up to the tip.)
I like the newer style scepter fronts, because it has the porting up to the tip and then it has the tip porting.. Basically it lets the ball reshape in the barrel and then the gas gets exhausted and centers the ball at the tip.
That's the theory anyway, but it really doesn't matter because it works.

I dont think the kits are compatible, but if they are that would be sweet.

I called them when they first announced they'd be getting ready for sale back in october or something. They said everything would be interchangeable (even with the revolver). It's possible that I was told wrong, or that it was changed somewhere in the development of the kit, but as far as I know that's still the way it is.
..lol, and anyone that would buy a freak over this is either a nummy or some young kid that wants to "look cool" on the field.
The scepter is the best insert kit ever made..i think the only thing that would come close might be the orbium 3 by sanchez machine. Those things look REAL nice. The porting on the barrel is fugly, but looks like it would definitely get the job done. (just some useful information for anyone contemplating an insert kit)

Does anyone have both an 05 kit and an 07 kit? Are the tips interchangeable?
Can anyone confirm or deny?
Thanks.

I don't think they are interchangable, that is why Powerlyte offers a trade from old models to 07 model kits.

Okay, just called and the 07 is compatible with the revolver, but not the older scepters. That's where the discrepancy was. I was told a while back that they would ALL be interchangeable, but apparently that was scrapped or I was misinformed.
Hope this helps to clear it up.

I doubt it. What would be your reasoning for wanting them? Just the look?

Yeah. Black aluminum doesn't match with my gun.
Why aren't they making SS anymore? I could have sworn the old kits had them.

^love the SS-25,
On a side note, does anyone know if there is any after-market tips available? I can't seem to find any, I just got my kit and I was curious.
