qev's

Does 1 or 2 qev's work better on a mechanical cocker?

two things.

1) if you get one qev, you might as well get two
2) they're really not worth it on a mech unless you plan to go electro very soon

love'em on my mech. makes for faster cycling. Not that I could out run the nexus ram without them, but it makes for a snappier cycle and thus easier for me to get a rythum on throwing streams with my mech..

You cannot notice a difference in performance with the QEVs on a mechanical Autococker. QEVs increase the cycling rate of the marker. On a mechanical Autcocker, it will not matter because you will not be pulling over 14 bps.

I disagree. it snaps block back faster, snaps it forward faster. creating a nice trigger pulling rhythm for me.. I love it. a basic sto ram without qevs is very slow to me. smooth, but slow and I cannot get a good trigger rhythm. Just my thoughts.
a moody MPP ram, 44mag ram, evolution ram, eclipse ram will all rock pretty well without qevs, but they sure feel nice..
enjoy,

i've been considering upgrading my ram, and throwing qevs on there. one reason is that i run my lpr so low that if i shoot too quickly, i get stuttering and the occasional pinch. you think qev's would help?

Honestly i didn't notice anything different with qev's or without them. However i did notice smoother faster cycling when i put a nexus ram on my ff.
