Does it really matter???

Its things like that are going to bring the sport somewhat main stream.

I agree with KillNit. It does good things for the sport to have outside sponsors involved, especially at the higher levels of play (pro)

IIRC, Bart Yachimec is the owner of multiple high-end car dealerships in the edmonton area, which explains not only the auto sponsors, but explains why he has the $$$ to support Impact.

If I'm off the mark, feel free to correct.

Props to him!

Impact Special Edition BMW M-3 coming soon!!!!!!!!

IMPACT has excellent sponsorship,

Including by not limited to….

Alberta Honda
BMW & Mini
Great West Chrysler Dodge Jeep
West side Mitsubishi
North side Mitsubishi
West End Nissan
West Side Acura
Plus Badlands paintball.

thats 7 dealerships by my last count, but he buys one like every couple of months... HAHA.

and Bart is one heck of a nice guy too. Both his sons play on this team, and friends of the family. This team is really a big extended family. Which is why the chemistry is so strong. They grew up playing paintball together.

umm if the dad owns a dealership you can bet in the future if not now (actually don't know everyone's age) they will have a car/truck to drive.

Worked for a dealer for the past 2 and a half years in sales. Loved it talked to many GM owners and managers many of who's parents owned one then sold it to someone else and many many had cars and trucks to drive. it all depends on the family, insurance, volume, MONEY, and RESPONSIBILITY of the people involved.

But ya like everyone above said he owns them that really helps. You think if the owner of Rogers or Delphi or Magma or whoever (insert high money company here) had a family who loved this sport as much as they did wouldn't they promote it. Hell its just an advertising cost and knowing how much money the dealership I worked at spent on advertising in a year I could easily run a PROFESSIONAL paintball team off 1 sponsorship (well actually they owned like 5 GM/Chev/Pontiac/Hummer/Corvette dealerships and were always looking for more).

yes other than being successful, Bart Yachimec(and family) are very humble people. I know, everyone knows; how successful he is and he's one of the most down to earth people you'll ever meet!

I personally, dont think his kids are spoiled, they seem very normal to me. Ive played for his wifes pb team @ numerous pb tournies. The lady is such a class act and soo easy going. they dont have that "bling bling" flashy persona, their hard working, easy going people. Put it this way, if they need something done and they could do it...they'll do it. their very hands on, which I find so humbling.

its cool though, sometimes you see Joanne practice with Impact and Bart and her will play on the same side. its the only time you can get away with shooting your kids or shooting your parents and get away with it!
