well, i'm guessing it has been posted and I know it says some info on their website, but i have been looking at buying an epic and need to know some answers to the following questions -
What bps can you get with the double trigger?
What efficency per 68/45 can you get?
What is the operating pressure?
what hopper is suggested?

Since the epic is mech, the trigger pull is around 3 pounds. I can get 4-5 bps with one finger, and 6-7 bps fanning it.
Around 1200.
The guns reg. puts the high pressure down the 400 psi were it is shoot.
I would personally go with either, the 12 bps graivty hopper, or an Apache, just to keep everything at the lightest.

how much kick does it have compared to say... an ion?

Rof is better if you adjust trigger on Epic. I can pull mine at 13 bps. I add a spring mod however to push trigger into firing position quicker.
And yes no kick no bolt.
Dv8 has faster rate of fire than old model too.

The best part on an epic is the kick. There is none!

Yea... Zero kick at all. Really nice, and horrifically accurate.
