Before you all start getting technical, this is the first time I shot paintball outdoors with this camera, so I was getting used to the settings and what not.

Some of the angles are iffy, and I overdid the contrast on some, but overall I like them.

my monitor at work sucks so I really can't comment on the pics till I see them from home... but I did have a question. Do you guys always play in a mud pit? Those pics remind me of when when they used to have a Maudi Gras event that was always flooded and muddy.

was this at badlandz? anyways.. your #3 would be the only one i would pick as a keeper. The rest to me look like snap shots.

Yes, this is at badlandz.

Its the 3rd or 4th week they have been open, and for those of you who live in chicago, it has rained 4 out of the 7 days in every week, so its been a mudfest.

Im picking up a new lense, theres a seperate thread in here so help me out if you can.

most are over exposed, either that or its the ****tiest use of photoshop that ive seen in a while.

Not bad for a stock lense... But youll need a zoom (as ive repsonded too in your other thread)

You are actually not a bad paintball photog... but a zoom would help.. and dont PP your images soo drastically.

Yea.. you have to use your palm to support the camera body... your not using a pns anymore..

I Think a D50 should be putting better images then that....

1st one looks muddy, as in no contrast or anything to make it come out.

3rd one is a nice shot, its a bit cliche but it works sometimes. Your PP to it is terrible.

9th one should never be done again... that is the standard of cliche. Atleast move out of the way so you cant see yourself.

Work on your PP more, and I would say get in tighter on some of the dives.
