Ill start this ***** of a thread off
Well there is this girl, I will call her molly, Ive known molly from freshman year. I consider her my best friend that is a girl. Im debating to ask her out, here is like what I would say, Btw I live in hawaii and she likes a dude on another island, so yeah he can gtfo my internets. Anywho read this
Hey molly how was your day? Well listen(pulls her somewere were no one can see us). I really need to talk to you(Grabs her hands), I need to seriously confess something to you, I think im falling for you, I can say 1000 things right now just about you. I would do anything for you Im the only person who knows you and would never turn his back unlike your other ****ed boyfriends in the past.
I would give you my life I love you so much, I really want a relationship with you cause I think we would be perfect. Also I value our friendship alot so you know im serious when im doing this. I always have been told to never regret something.I love you and hope you make the right choice.
Think that would catch her over?

eh planning out what youre gonna say is always a bad idea...just go with it.
but it seems like youre already in the friends zone with her considering you two are "best friends"...if you do infact do it and get shut down, it might make things a little awkward between you 2 cuz she now knows that you like her more than a friend. it happened to me once and we stopped talking for a little bit, but were best friends again and my feelings for her vanished. |

I concur. You have two things going against you here.
1)She's your best friend. That in itself will be pretty hard to move past.

I hate to be the one to tell you this but you are soo deep in the friend trap I don't see any way of getting out of it except for two ways...
1) Confess it to her (this is a long shot and RAIRLY works). More than likely it will ruin your friendship and i don't recomend it. When i say this rairly works i mean less than 10% of the time. If you do it the way you propose which is draumatic and very beta, i give you under a 5% chance. Not a good plan dude. think of it this way, you are essentially putting all of your chips on one number on the roulette table.
2) A long drawn out process over a period of months (7-10) where you make a transformation of your relationship to romantic. (This is alot of work and will also more than likely ruin your friendship in the end.) There's also no gaurantee this will work.
Your best option here is to accept that she is your best friend and love her for that. Look for your love interests in other areas and keep friends and lovers sepereated. I'm aware this is easier said than done but it's the healthiest decision and in the end will be the most beneficial for you.

every one feels dumb in college, so by saying it u make a connection on that level. If she is actually getting the stuff, then you ask crack a joke on your self. Guys i doesn't matter what u say as long as you say soothing. 9 times out of 10 she is sitting in class just wanting to get the class over, not looking for a cute guy. So speak up let her know your there, and if you can make her laugh then DO IT trust me.

When i skip a day of class i always use it as an oppertunity to hit on a girl. I'll come in and ask her if we did anything important the day before. Good ice breaker. |
