reg creeping like a beezy

aight so today I got to use my fusion and it performed excellently. However, I noticed that the reg would creep up to like 400 psi, but when I shot it once, it went down to 250 psi. Anybody have reasons/solutions for this?

Unscrew the regulator from the marker (remove the macroline first of course), use a 3/8" allan wrench in the top of the regulator and get a good grip on the bottom (use the macro fitting for everage) and unscrew the 2 halves. Once apart, turn it upside down and gently tap it on a hard object to remove the shim stack (dont loose the shims!). Once out expect it for any debris and clean any off. Put some lube on the orings, reassemble and test it out and it shouldnt creep anymore.

The cause for a creeping regulator in the fusions is dirt or debris inside the regulator.

Yes, and sometimes the problem is the inside of the adjustment screw where the piston goes into has gotten nicked or scratched....if this is the case it will cause reg creep.

Try not to shoot the gun at 400psi either. Creepy reg = easy fix usually, solenoid death not so much

wait, so even if the pressure goes to 600psi (just once, i swear) it doesn't matter if u dont shoot it/try to shoot it as long as u get it down?

well once I shot it once it went down to 250 psi and stayed there until it sat for about 10 min or so.

did you try and lube it?

fixes 80% of reg creeps.
