If you are holding your Fusion with the barrel facing up and remove your ram cap, does the ram and spring come out with the cap or do you need to pull the ram out?

Ive seen pics that would lead me to believe they come out quite easily yet I have to grab the thin end of the ram and give it a tug before it comes out of the body?

The bolt will hold it in. If you remove the bolt it will drop right out.

I figured that was understood --- if I remove the bolt and then the ram cap, i have to PULL the ram out. It doesnt just fall out on mine

use your bolt to push it back, then pull the pin.

I think you guys are mis understanding ...

Bolt is out, ram cap is off, the ram is partially out of the gun (meaning the thin part that fits into the ram cap) ... however the larger portion of the ram is getting stuck in the body and requires a fairly decent tug to get it out - as if it wasnt machined 100% correctly.

same thing happened to me it'll still work no preformance downfall but its alway nice to know that everything comes apart when its supposed to. Might need to replace the striker (hopefully) or the housing (the body)

ya it happened to me too, its actually REALLY hard to get mine out. did ur ram cap come really loose when u first got it too? only thing that i could think of is that the ram cap is a tiny bit loose and everytime u fire the ram cap hits the body of the gun with the ball bearing, and pushes up that valley into the tube, making it hard to get out the ram. idk just my 2 cents

I spoke with DP about it ... its exactly what Truck said (however my ram cap was not loose - however I have no idea if the gun was fired at the shop before I got it) ... the pressure from the ram pressed into the ram cap causes the bearing to flare the edge of its channel a bit -- nothing to worry about at all - they said its perfectly fine.

Shane ... yes I did get it from LVP. No reason to take it to Brett -- there is NOTHING that they can fix that I cant

I had just never heard of anyone else having the problem so I asked DP ... and got my answer. Once I pull the ram out, it will move freely back in/out as long as I dont compress it back in with the ram cap and fire it ... then I have to pull again haha
