But, I guess thats not the case (the valve releasing the same volume of air)
Using this method place an object such as a ball that fits into the mouth of the glass(this is acting like the bolt). Tip the glass over and see if the water pours out at the same rate without the object. My guess is it will pour out at a slower rate because of the pressure created. Just my thoughts on it.
