It does not work at all. In the shade it will but not in the sun

your hand will cover the grips when playing. i suggest getting smoked, or black then you wouldnt have to worry about covering it. But i doubt it would just stop working since the sun isnt directly on it, unless you shoot sideways with the feedneck facing left or right.

well i shoot slanted so they aren't for me.

well someguy at my field makes them but i guess he could engrave the whole grip
