I work for one of the worlds largest Global Holding firms, as a Fund Accountant. I think we are second to Bank of New York? Pretty much I work servicing mutual funds all day.

Not to come across as a dick, but why even post?
The thread asks for people who either used to be or are still in the finance industry. You are in school, that is not the finance industry. Furthermore, you are in school for business. General business is not the finance industry.
This type of stuff just leads posters along and adds to the already huge amount of bad information here.
I'm not trying to stir anything up, just adding my opinion.
To make this legit, I am a licensed financial professional. Which licenses and where I work I would like to keep to myself. |

Just got a position as a Hedge Fund Accountant, although I got my BSBA in Finance with a focus on investments.
I plan to do a joint JD/MBA program in the coming years.
