Played a tourney the third week of December. During the course of the day I noticed twice that I had breaks in the breech. I have owned my Quest since early 2006 and never had a break in the breach. Anyway I got home and cleaned and lubed her up. I noticed right away that the eyes were reading a ball in the breach. After checking and making sure that there was no ball or dirty eyes. I still had the same problem.
Next day I called FEP. I talked to a gentleman by the name of Cole and told him what my trouble was. He felt that more then likely my eyes had gone bad, or there was a break in the wire harness. He really didn’t want me to send my Quest to FEP for such a simple fix. I assured him I had “no worries’ about sending it out.
The problem was not the eyes at all. It was the WAS board. FEP replaced my fried board with a new Spitfire from lucky. I had also included my broken GM-Bolt. That was replaced without even a question.
FEP had my marker for thirteen days. Now you most realize that there was two holidays during that time, plus the time it took to ship back to me.
Thank you FEP for the dependable, supportive, and fast customer service. Other manufactures should take a lesson from you!
wow, toat sounds awesome...i am kinda skeptical about sending my gun in because of last time. I sent my pimp in to evil to get it fixed (ended up an oring in the reg blew), so they have it for not a week, but a MONTH!
i think i wont have a problem sending to fep, god forbid something goes wrong with my quest~
