How do you get rid of ripples in strap?

I have an american flag strap that I got for free that I really like. How do you get rid of ripples on the edges of the strap? I really want this strap to look good. Thanks.

depends on how bad the curling is
My racing would be perf3ectly flat for when i wore it but after i cleaned it it would go back to being curled
the key is to flatten them while they are drying
