dude, i just broke 2 AFI cd's....... Sing the Sorrow and Black sails in the sunset. i had them in my pocket(the ones in the fornt/side) and my girlfriend sat in my lap........

she just left to buy me new ones at the record store.....i hope she gets back soon

ya almost did that too but i realized after a while it wasnt that bad. But thats probably because i like them so much i just want to like it but at the same time i want to hate it.

Havok looks like a 40 year old woman, and Sing the Sorrow pretty much blows...

I believe it's mostly just a trend. I bet most of those 12 year old straight edge weiners will be drinking themselves to death when they hit 21.

whether or not "12 year olds" decide they want to be straight edge is totally circumstantial. i know a bunch of 12 year olds that pretend like motorhead, who you seem to be a fan of as well. but assuming that you actually appreciate their work does that change your opinion on the band, or the fact that behind a bunch of fake fans, there are still real ones?

alot of people have to understand that straight edge isn’t some elitist culture or youth movement, no matter how much some dickfor wants it to be. its is a group of people who promote the mutual beliefs they share involving awareness and quite frankly anti-stupidity.

I don't see how smoking some marijuana is stupid at all. I use it to relax and go to sleep, because I am an insomniac.

im going to have to agree. everyone ive meet who has done any kind of substance hasnt been the smartest person ive come in contact with. just because your straight edge doesnt mean your smart but it does mean you probably arent around the lesser iq ones. so something has to rub off. ive done my share of things and its really nothing special.

Not all straight edge kids push there beliefs on others. And yes, it has become a trend. The trend is what has made it seem like an elitest culture, but it is not intended to be one. It's also become a trend to bash straight edger's, so whatever floats your boat.

Personally, I applaud their effort, atleast the ones who have made a real committment to it. The one's who are doing it to impress everyone else will stop as soon as the trend dies out.
