If you're posting this you must be under age. Therefore you are violating Harb's rules.

You can do that, but don't you have to have a good reason to do it?And be like at least 16?
Im gonna do some research about this.
Edit:

But i have a checking account,
I am only 17 and i just get it with my moms name under mine.
If you know your parents might take your money( i know a good amount of familys that take money from there children from there Savings/Checking Account) then i think you can get it with your grandparents/ maybe your godparents names on it if they are more trustworthy then your parents, but thats just if your parents are like that, hoping they are not like that.

Bank of America offers a checking account for kids in high school / college called "CampusEdge". Look into it.

You would usually have to open one under your parent/guardians name. Most larger banks like BBT offer free student checking.

I have a checking account, but the co-sign or whatever has to be one of your parents. By the way, I am 16. As of now, I can write checks, and use a debit card with my bank account.
My bank: Patelco
