How well does an ion perform with A/S c02
Is it able to reach high ROF without freezing? And is it similar to HPA (yes i know HPA is much bettre but i cannot afford it)?

Performs horrible.
Accuracy and consistancy is out the window.
50 bucks will get you a 45/30 steely tank... If you play on a field... get it.

Yeah it wont be real consistant, especially when its new cuase you have to break in the reg. After you break it in though it should get better but its never gonna get real consistant, just nature of co2.run it like that if you have to but save your pennies and get Hpa as soon as you can.High rates of fire arent gonna be a good idea right now till you get the Hpa,it might freeze the orings and such and cause some probs.enjoy

Look in the b/s/t section on here for some good deals. You can find a 68/3000 for close to 60 dollars. Also, you can get a good deal on some stubbies or a 68/45. Just save up some money or wait for christmas lol.

Im spending tons of money. Hopper and an insane amount of upgrades on my guns...I doubt i'll have an extra 150 for a tank.

I would get hpa before any other upgrade. That was my first "upgrade" and I don't regret it. And if they are used in the b/s/t section they won't be $150. They are more like 60 to 100 dollars.

It will perform decently. I don't see you really capping the gun out in woodsball so you should be fine.

if all your doing is bursts of 5-10 at a time an as tank will be fine. itl be bad though if you start shooting up around 10bps for more than 5 or 10 secounds

I use my Ion occasonaly w/ A/S Co2 when i can't get N2. It works fine even when i'm shooting over 15bps for a little bit.
