My Ion is having a problem

Hey, I got an Ion with no stock parts (all aftermarket) that I got from someone. The day I got it, I played with it and it was really fast and working pretty good. Later that day it started acting wierd. It would be shooting fine and then all of a sudden it would have horrible drop off and the balls would barely roll out of the barrel. I shot more and it shot like 10 and then did it again. It started doing this even when I wasn't shooting but still playing.
I fiddled around with the pressure on the reg (cp) and that didn't help at all.
A week later I went to play with it and I put the air in with some balls and it wouldn't shoot any balls farther then a foot. What can I do? Any suggestions and advice would be great.

1) Replace the battery.

2) Increase the dwell. Try using the stock setting (52 blinks with stock board, 34 milliseconds with aftermarket board), or if you have a QEV you can try it at 16 or more blinks (16 or more milliseconds with aftermarket board).

3) Clean and regrease the regulator. This is most often the cause.

4) Clean and regrease the firing assembly and solenoid. Be sure not to overgrease or undergrease the o-rings, as either can cause the problem.

5) Make sure your tank is screwed in as far as possible.
