PMR questions

Alright before you flame me i've checked the sitcky's and all around and can't seem to find the answers to these questions about the PMR.

1. What is its max rof in bps?

2. What is the length of the barrel? (Looks like 12 inch but just wnated ot be sure.)

3. What are all the modes it has?

4. What is it's exact weight?

And this one isn't realted to the PMR, but i'm a anewbie and never understood this.

5. Why is it better for guns to run on LP air tanks, and if its better, why does anyone buy HP?

(Hopefully won't get flamed)

Thanks in adavance,
Scuba

well for this gun you can run either. the hyper 2 will bring it to whatever pressure you need.

All Matrices will run off LP or HP tanks. While its somewhat up for debate, I believe that HP tanks are better as they offer a faster recharge rate during rapid fire and therefore prevent shootdown.

Hey ScubaZteve I don't mean to hi-jack your thread but I have a question myself.

Does anyone know about the kick and the noise? How is the PMR in those departments?

I would imagine there would be slightly more kick due to there not being an LPR. As far as noise goes, I couldnt say.

I know the board has ramp settings to 30, but do you guys actually think the gun will be able to reach that speed? Just wondering.

my pm7 wouldn't shoot 30 with the factory settings and bolt, so NO I doubt it will shoot 30 bps out of the box

Thanks for answering my questions guys. And is the barrel 11'' or 12'', 11'' just seems too short to me.

HP tanks have higher recharge but thats only if you shoot like 30+ bps or running at extremely low pressures. People like using LP tanks because it causes less wear than HP. Turning the pressure down from 450 compared to 850. Also, Crossfire LP tanks are known for there fast recharge so this shouldnt cause a problem with drop off and what not.

I heard someone saying that the PMR was loud because it does not contain an adjustable LPR. However, look at the Shocker. I believe the shocker operates at a higher pressure than the PMR and it still shoots silent darts. Just have to play with the dwell/HPR. Also, probably in the futures theres going to be different bolt mods which will help lower the pressure-like the shocker.

The grip frame is, but the UL frame for it is made outa aluminum (sp?) or some similar metal. From the people who have used it they said it dont feel like a toy, very durable.
