Did the they make the right call?

At first I wasn't really sure what went down, but the more pictures I see, the more I think that a bad call was made.

-BC's armband was pulled before the first JD player's. If Fraige got him as he ran through, why?

-I have yet to see pictures or video of a JD player clearly shooting without an armband on. Doesn't mean it didn't happen, but if someone could link me to a good pic of this it'd be much appreciated.

-In the Blacklist pics, BC raises his marker (after his armband has been pulled) as the second JD player comes around the bunker. BC may have even shot, I can't really tell. BC clearly has a hit on his hopper, at the very least.

-What about Fraige putting his hands on the second JD player when he shoots out BC? Last time I checked, that wasn't allowed. Picture here.

I'm not trying to change anything. I know the refs have made their decision, I know that Dynasty won, and I know that (more than likely) nothing will change that. I just don't think the right call was made.

pbstar posted a vid of the final...trying to watch it right now, taking for ever to download.the quality seem to be better, and maybe they had a better camera angle.

How do you view those videos? Do you right click and download as a save as, or do you just click on the links?

you have to click the links. you also have to be signed in. I dont think you can download them, just streaming, which sucks becuase its taking forever

Either Dan is blind, lying or senile... Neither thing is good when being the head ref.

Edit: In the new video on pbstar.com you can see how the decision was based on the "fact" that scandals armband had been removed before he shot at bc. Watch the vidoe and watch the pictures where you all can see how this is not the case. Total brain meltdown... BC and Fraige clearly influenced the judges and who can blame them? Its all... Pretty screwed up

i think the right call was made regarding the 3 for 1 assessed because the joy player kept shooting after his armband was pulled. because joy only had 1 player left the pull & hang were automatically awarded to dynasty (the other team), which should happen in that situation. it doesn't matter whether or not BC went & pulled & hung the flag live or dead; b/c of the 3 for 1 penalty the game was dynasty's. however, a 6 game suspension on the other joy player is bogus imo.

If you've read any of this thread, or have seen the video, you can see that no joy player was pulling after his armband was pulled.

To recap this thread: The incorrect call was made, however, there is nothing that can be done now except get more refferees in the damn snake. Why weren't there refs moving up or over to help out?

but did you notice in the second game, the ref that comes up to the dynsty player. looks like they're having a tea party, than the ref says " hey, i think maybe you should come on out, I cant make it too obvious"

This angle is much better, and I think it clearly shows that Joy should have won. If you watch Scandel as he bunkers Alex, you can tell he totally gets him first. Listen to the noise. You can here Joy's gun ripping on him, and you don't hear Alex's gun until the Joy player is almost past him. Alex tried to trade out but he clearly lost. That means Scandel was still in when he slid in and BC came over the snake. Horrible call, should have gone to Joy.

you will not see any pictures with the joy player shooting without an armband since it was never pulled...

and yes BC must have shot Sebban (the joy back player) since Sebban is clean going into the snake, but when you see the pictures where he is arguing with the reffs, he has paint all over his face..

Joy got robbed, big time..

Fraige bumps up, Scandal runs up to bunker him, Fraige tries to spin, but seems too slow.

Fraige is out from a hit to his shoulder. No hits are on his back.

Between the last two pictures Cole jumps over the snake to try to take out (the aptly named) Scandal. At this point I can't see any hits on the Scandel (but there obviously could be), but he is clearly shooting Cole. Maybe playing on?

Cole and Scandel are shooting each other? Note Scandel does not have a hit on his butt in 6741-43, and Cole's marker isn't pointing towards it.

Note Fraige, although hit and without arm band, is not heading to the dead box. A hit appears on Scandel's back where Fraige is pointing his marker?! Weird. I like to think it's a coincidence and that hit was there before, and just not visable...

Ref runs in, takes off Cole's armband (IE, he should be out at this point), Fraige is still standing there, no hits on his back.

Hits glalore, proving IMO Fraige was interferring with play after he was out. Well, if the game is in fact still on, since Cole's armband is clearly off.

Fraige is holding Sebban even though physical contact between players is not allowed, maybe to try to get Sebban to stop shooting Cole because Cole is out. Understandable, I guess.

Sebban has hits on him but they must be from after Cole's armband was pulled, right? I belive he is clean as he comes around the corner. Did Cole shoot at him between jumping over the snake and when Sebban comes around the corner?

Cole's various hits...The one on his back is pretty weird, when is that from?

Anyway, it seems to me that Joy should have won, too late to fix it now, but refs should go over this decision so stuff like this doesn't happen again.

It depends if Sebban's armband was pulled for a hit or for playing on, or for overshooting, or maybe for Scandal possibly playing on, since I don't know when he got hit. If it was for overshooting Cole, I can understand, but he didn't know Cole was out, and Cole wasn't heading towards the sideline or deadbox when Sebban shot him. Fraige was just in the way of alive players.

yep that pretty much sums up what any of us who werent there can possibly know. those pics make fraige look really bad, and if anyone should be getting a suspension it should be him. he was way out of line.

Yeah, the physical contact thing should be strictly enforced. You let this slide and people may get the wrong impression, and physical contact is just something the sport doesn't need, because forbid it ever caused someone's mask to get dislodged.
