I yelled at you on friday durning an aftermath game. No responce

Seemed like the fields were pretty crowded with photographers and videographers, i counted about 6 at one time.
Some seem a bit overexposed.

Edit-
the one where Todd is cleaning his barrel is great.

I think you yelled at my video guy.. I watched no Aftermath games. Yeah must've been. He was wearing a yellow NOSEY streetball.

EDIT: I wasn't there Friday, neither was my Video guy..Maybe didn't answer due to that.

Shooting the horizons at angles don't always work, and when it does, the effect can be lost when its done so much...

The colors are great.

Not my favorite set by far though...

never ceases to amaze me.

since you seem to have mastered this aspect of pball photography, why don't you try something new? even if you continue shooting pball, try it with some new things, possibly shoot a whole day with a UWA lens? just something out of the ordinary, to see what you can do.

if nothing else it will give you something to have fun with

I have to agree, not your best set. I just think that after awhile, its all the same thing. Your style is good, but when you have pictures of something and thats all you do it gets repetative. Just so many paintball player pictures and not enough action pictures.

I feel like im looking at a bunch of pictures of just players. It gets boring after 10.

I never really liked taking "action" shots, every other photographer does it, why should I? I prefer trying to capture the emotion of the sport rather than the same thing everyone else goes for.

Any other thoughts? Or maybe a favorite from the set?

I was too close and didn't want to miss it so I had to sacrifice for the vert. shot.

I agree though, horizontal would've been great also from a different angle.

Thats great to a certain extent, but it gets kinda old fast. Plus if your looking to turn a profit, people will wanna buy action shots over an artistic shot of themselves. That and paintball is an extreme action sport and action shots help portray that.

Well,
I think Nosey has a winning combination of artistically oriented action shots. He has the ability to portray the colors, pain, action, speed, and intensity of the game in a single image, which takes a lot of talent to do.

Nosey, you really should work on a portfolio from this past season and submit it to the various paintball mags, you have the potential to be one of the upcoming photographers who can portray our sport in a great light to the public.

Yeah, believe me, I think Nosey is THE best paintball photog I've ever seen. He has shots that surpass ones I've ever seen in magazines.
