Melted Eyes Wire
So I took apart my gun today after a great time at the field. Their was shocker lube all over my internals (mostly qev) and the wire for my Eyes were melted together to the qev. Did the lube get hot and melt them? anyone else ever experience this and more importantly where can i get a new wire?

are you sure your QEV is installed correctly? I cant imagine the lube heating up like that, seems very strange to me. maybe you left your gun out in the sun for a long time or something?

You probably pinched it between the QEV and the top of the gun and it crushed the insulation together rather than it being melted together.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. With the combination of a little grease and pressure from screwing down the body it definately would look like it melted.

ya that is probably what happened. The wire was severed either way. I should get my new one soon from lucky. Hopefully this doesn't happen again.
