Evolve PI reg, OK to get HP?
So I want to upgrade my reg. I like the looks/cost/reviews of the Evolve PI. All that appears to be available are used ones, so I have questions.
Can I get the HP version of the Evolve? This would be one of the older ones, back when they made HP and LP versions. I really do not want to blow the noid on my Blackheart. What are the pressure ranges of these versions?
Thanks

i have a regulator that goes 0-1200 psi, and it works fine, you just have to be more careful when adjusting the pressure with hp regs, as they can go a huckuvva lot higher giving you a greater chance to blow your noid
for that reason, i would try and get an lp one
whats the range of pressure on the hp?

If you can wait for the adjustable Pi then I would.
Shims can be added to adjust the pressure higher.
IMO, that is the way to go.

all opinions respected....if looking for an Evolve, I would recommend looking for a used LP version. it seems as thought hey were build for the ION since any pressure above around 200 psi gets vented out saving the noid.
eidt: But like any new regulator on your gun, Zero it out before airing it up and adjusting the internal pressures.
